Yes, but not in the traditional sense. These sessions work with what you might call a “natural” trance that arises automatically when work mindfully, and preferably with closed eyes. (If you are not comfortable with eyes closed states of awareness, that is not a problem. I’m careful to work within your comfort zone in ways that work for you.) This leads generally to a light trance state where we do the work. In this case, it is not for the sake of suggestion or regression, but rather to explore using techniques in the method.
